About Jack Roark

Jack Roark has been involved with the UF/IFAS Master Gardener Program in Miami-Dade County. He began his service in April 2009 as a Master Gardener and IT support person for UF/IFAS. His responsibilities included working at the Master Gardener support desk and maintaining the IFAS website.

In addition to his Master Gardener certification, he has also been a member of the Florida Master Naturalist Program (FMNP) since April 2010, demonstrating his long-term commitment to Florida's natural environment and horticulture.

This background in gardening and natural sciences complements his other work as a beekeeper and entrepreneur in the Homestead area.

Jack Roark is a beekeeper and self-described "Serial Micropreneur" based in Homestead, Florida. He is currently associated with Everglades Honey, where he manages his beekeeping operations.
