We are offering a unique winter stay opportunity for experienced beekeepers who would like to spend the cold months in warm South Florida while helping manage a working honey bee yard.
This is a housing-for-work exchange, ideal for:
Seniors who have experence beekeeping
Snowbirds from northern states
Beekeeping couples or individuals who enjoy hands-on apiary work
Private RV housing located directly at our bee yard
Quiet rural setting surrounded by tropical agriculture
Easy access to Miami, Homestead, and the Florida Keys
Seasonal stay (typically November–April, flexible)
Light to moderate beekeeping help
Hive inspections and maintenance
Feeding, supering, basic swarm control
Assistance during honey pull
Yard upkeep related directly to the apiary
Work schedule is flexible and designed for seniors. This is not a high-pressure commercial operation—this is a hands-on, relaxed, working bee yard.
Prior beekeeping experience required
Physically able to perform light outdoor work
